Peak and Return
What's ready to ripen, and what's ready to burn?
The summer solstice is the peak of the light, and it's also the moment everything shifts direction. Nature moves from growing into ripening, and that shift has a different energy entirely. Less pushing, more tending. Less starting, more allowing things to come to fruition.
This call uses that energy as a framework for something practical: two pieces of paper and a fire ritual. One list goes into the flame, one goes on your wall. But before you write anything down, we take a good look at what's actually worth keeping and what you've just been carrying out of habit.
We cover a lot of ground, and not all of it is comfortable.
What this call explores:
The difference between growing energy and ripening energy, and which one you might be misapplying right now
Your body as a memory system: why letting go can show up physically, and how to support that
The daily body check-in as a practice, why it takes 90 days to stick, and how to set yourself up so it actually works
Making noise, using your voice, and why the suppression of sound is costing you more than you think
How to involve your body in decision-making, not to override logic, but to track whether your gut was right
Self-criticism: what the research actually says, and why the inner critic is not the productivity tool you were told it was
The giving trap: why cutting yourself out of the equation makes it harder for others to receive from you, not easier
Movement that your body genuinely enjoys, versus movement you're doing because you think you should
Meaningful social connection versus the constant low-grade noise of social contact
Dreams you shelved a long time ago, and the difference between what's truly yours and what someone else put there
This is not a transformation promise. It's more of an honest conversation at a moment in the year where the energy is actually on your side. Take what fits, leave the rest.
